Your inputs

Check all starting values against your project and product. Enter your own prices; keep costs on the same GST basis.

MEASURE FIRST

How to prepare your inputs

Measure comparable work areas and use recorded productivity. For dilution, read the exact ratio convention on the product label.

How this calculation works

For 1 part concentrate to R parts water, concentrate = final volume ÷ (R + 1). Water = final volume − concentrate.

Worked example

5 L at 1 part concentrate to 20 parts water uses 238.0952 mL concentrate and 4.7619 L water.

Assumptions & exclusions

Only for products whose label explicitly defines concentrate:water parts by volume. Not for percentage concentration, pool dosing, pesticides or disinfectant efficacy. Follow label, SDS and PPE; never mix incompatible products.

Your next step

Confirm product compatibility, label instructions and the agreed cleaning scope before work.

What if my shape or product is different?

Use dimensions and product data that match the stated method. For complex work, calculate separate sections or obtain a project-specific take-off. Do not apply simple geometry to structural or compliance decisions.

Why are quantities rounded up?

Whole bags, packs, sheets or cartridges round up to purchasable units. Decimal area or volume results are planning figures; confirm order increments with the supplier.

Are my entries saved?

No. Entries remain in the current browser page and clear on reload. Printing can save your results and inputs as a PDF on your device.
